Zero Cool Episode 19: stupid people exist

I can't seem to shut up towards the end of this week's episode, so I'll keep things brief here, ok? We're minus Ben this week, but I'm sure you'll forgive us!

    You drink our milkshake.

    Show notes ahoy!

    * Darren has played some Tactics Ogre: Let us Cling Together, is frustrated with Square Enix's PR.
    * The Scarecrow sequences in Batman: Arkham Asylum are friggin' sweet.
    * Dead Space 2 has a fantastic ending, or so I hear.
    * Two Worlds II is great and terrible all at once.
    * Wolfenstein 3D: opening doors and getting lost in mazes.
    * Dry humping is how babies are made.
    * We accidentally talk about piracy for a bit.
    * We speculate on just what Smurfberries do.
    * Games cause rape? Sean lays down some science.
    * JohnnyViral questions!

QUESTION OF THE WEEK: Given the smurfing smurf of the smurf industry today, how do you smurf the smurfs will change their smurfberries to meet the smurfs of the coming smurf?

    Also, smurfs.

Smurfing hell! I forgot to mention that I would have loved to see a Mogwai Rock Band game. They'd have to create an endurance mode for playing tracks like Mogwai Fear Satan as it's 16+ minutes long.

On that note, I think they should do a Rock Band game that consists entirely of Philip Glass's opera Einstein on the Beach. Perfect for Rock Band 3's keyboard and harmonies! It's only like, four hours of this:

I just realized in the past week that this was a thing. And I found out through itunes. Weird how that works.

I approve of your style, guys. It's fresh, clean, and dope. Perhaps that's an oxymoorong. If so, I don't ever want to by oxymooright.

That's bad-ass that you found us through iTunes - glad you're digging the show!

Also, there is precedent for an accepted use of fresh, clean, and dope as concurrent descriptors. As the philosopher Andre 3000 spoke in the magnum opus Stankonia, "Ain't nobody dope as me; I'm just so fresh, so clean."

He also noted in that same song, "You're so Anne Frank"

Hmm, yeah, maybe it's about time I try to bug the higher ups for some front page love again.

Yes, Dex, it would help. I am never too sure unless I see a front page blip in my feed if there are podcasts to check out. I'm still hoping for a Bit Transmission update.

And Sean: I am awares of the precedent, but prefer to buck the norms. You can't cage me! I am outside the box, on a ledge, and still "killing your d00ds". With batshit metaphors.
