Pfft that panty waste Ostrava would. I have a Blue Dragon run from the right side down pat. Never fails, I'll have to post it on youtube sometime, I played this game waaaay too much though and got all 3 versions to platinum them all. Asian servers are the most populated but also have the most glitchers so you'll get dudes with buff'd out gear and casting plague at lvl 20 on 2 - 1. Such pussy bullshit, other guys go new game + then de-level and summon you into there world and see if you can survive the 2x dmg.

Yeah I found out the hard way on 2 - 1. Fucking dog killed me in one swipe. I had read they're shutting down DS servers in Europe prior to launch of Dark Souls as Namco Bandai published it there so they obviously want you fellas to move on. Maybe it's not 100$ true though.

When I first saw Ostrava, I thought he'd be a badass. Motherfucker was GLOWING. I was wrong.

Also, it makes me sad to think many people won't ever give Dark Souls a chance because they think it will be too hard for them. Demon's Souls is such a great game, but my friends won't play it because they can't get over the first few deaths. It's a real shame, I think. People are sissies.

Well hindsight is 20/20. But the game is very over bearing until you look up secrets and understand weapon modding etc.

None of that information is given to you which is part of the fun, but not everyone can go through the learning process.

Yeah, I know. But I was already having fun in 1-1, even though I was being killed by fucking dreglings. It just seems to me people want too desperately to get rewards and can't bear to lose anything in a game. Can't they enjoy the ride? I mean, the very process of LEARNING how to play was fun for me, trying to get the timing right for parries and shit (never did for those soldiers with lances)

The hardest part of Demon's Souls is literally the very beginning, when you think about it. Just for the fact that you can't level up at all. That's probably why people give up on it. If only they stuck with it.

I hope you gentlemans will be getting this on the PS3.

I believe I said this somewhere before, but I don't have an option on that matter. I only own a PS3.

I'm apparently way behind here. They are shutting down the Demon's Souls servers? Permanently? What about when I want to go back through Demon's Souls?

Sad...sad...sad. My PS3 is packed away right now since we are moving. I wanted to play through Demon's Souls again when it gets unpacked. Ugh. Has anybody heard a rumor about a LAN party style patch for Demon's Souls or anything of the sort? Oh well, at least I will get to have fun with Dark Souls when that comes out!

Getting it on both, will be very active on both. Probably all I will play the month of October until Skyrim hits. Going to make a warrior / strength build on the 360 i'm thinking and a mage on ps3.

Guessing the xbox will have less skilled players so bringing a mage elsewhere lol.

Patch probably won't happen, it sorta needs a server to work online with the messaging system and the way you summon dudes by lying stones down on servers basically. I'd totally pay for a P2P patch if it was possible though. Or even pay like a 10 dollar a year pass to keep servers up.

As far as I know US & Asian servers aren't set to go down though. So you could always buy another version.

Definitely gotta hit me up on the PS3 then. I've been trying to tell my 360 nub friends about this game. Like trying to sell it to my cat!

They just don't know about the greatness!!!

Will do. I think the month of October every comment I leave on the front page articles i'll sign with - Umbassa

We should start the chain reaction. Why wait? Who's down? Sign it until Dark Souls come out.

I didn't even realize this game was coming out for the 360. Doesn't matter, as mine's been pre-ordered for the PS3 forever. Not to mention it would seem weird playing it on the Xbox.

Yeah. They even got permission to disable all voice chat on the 360 version.

I hate games that become multi-platform mid-series, like Dead Rising or Mass Effect. If I can't play from the beginning, I don't wanna hear about it.

I agree 100% about the multi-platform. I wonder now, are they just doing that for in-game chat, or are they stopping being able to party up, as well? I can hear people complaining already.

Party chat is entirely frozen out.

Personally, I'm a little miffed by it as well that we're still not getting any sort of chat. I understand their logic, but my opinion of it hasn't changed since the last time they tried this shit with Resident Evil Outbreak: Having no chat doesn't set a mood. It just makes working with people needlessly frustrating.

Maybe I'll just have to get White Knight Chronicles 2 to really get my multiplayer RPG fix.

I actually think that's dumb. You can talk with souls in the Nexus so why not when summoning them? I actually used party chat on XBL and co op'd the ps3 version plenty of times with friends. It's a blast. So yeah that kinda stinks, but there's always skype.

Why not let the player choose whether or not to enable chat?

With the way my router keeps throwing my NAT into strict on the 360, it's sometimes easier just to jump on skype than have the hassle of rebooting. Nice thing about having the TV, PC, and game systems next to each other.

Going to have to invest into a good PC headset. Any recommendations? Currently have a fata1ity one I got on sale at amazon and it's shit. You can't hear me if I pull the mic away and if I put it to where you can hear me you catch every breath I take.
