I hope they balance classes or at least attributes. That's my only concern, in Demon's souls magic = owned all. Strength got shafted, even with a DBS build you needed a bunch put into Magic for the light sword buff to be truly effective... I want a true warrior bezerker build with no magic damnit. Dex could be brutal if you got creative. Still I just hope they really put balance in the PVP builds.

Blessed Great Axe build is the only thing that could usually stand up to straight magic or magic buffing builds IMO

They've said several times it will be harder, but also said it will be fair. Not a stupid hard which Demon's Souls was only guilty of in 5 - 2 until you got the gist of the game. First experience with 5 - 2 before I beat the game was FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU lol. Now it's no problemo to solo.

They've also said you'll have about 1.5x the amount of spells & gear to choose from which is great.

Observation, looks like you can roll now with armor fine. But it takes a second to get back up instead of rolling like a anvil in Demon's Souls.

Also if anyone would like to get into Demon's Souls prior to this games release i'll give free tours. Usually just get on XBL and party up. Then get on PSN and coordinate Blue Stone (summoning) drops. Co-oping Demon's Souls is a ton of fun.

I'm eager to try out the Solaire of Astora from the gameplay videos. That lighting spell looks badass.

Classes don't seem to matter again though outside the first 2 hours. Which is probably a good thing since everyone will find someone with a better exclusive perk if they had them. Kinda like the female royal in Demon's Souls due to females later attained bracelets & starting gear.

I always go knight just for the plate mail. Plus since i've played the game sooo much it's nice to start with more of a challenge. No soul arrow & magic regen makes it tougher.

Then I get screwed though by dudes that De-level with top gear and are casting Death Cloud at level 20 to 30 range... really? I hope they fix that in Dark Souls. No de-leveling! That's mostly in the asian version though.

I wanna see some starting stats on those Dark Souls classes though

I started out as a wanderer. What big mistake. So middle-of-the-road. I'm not a big RPG player so I picked him cuz he looked balanced. It doesn't really pay to be balanced in an RPG. It's better to just pick a focus and stick with it.

It really shouldn't matter, as long as you don't keep him completely balanced. You should start a focus on either STR, Magic, Faith, or Dex.

Magic & Faith make for the easiest most versitile builds and hold up really well in PVP. STR & Dex can be really deadly if you know what you're doing. Otherwise eh.

I'm stoked about this game. Absolutely loved Demon's Souls, and I loved that you couldn't just blitz through the game like so many others. I never pre-order games, but I definitely pre-ordered this game.

Me in Demon's Souls? Yeah, I was the super fast casting roll around like crazy magic user. The low defense and low HP were tough at some points, especially in the Pit where you went slow and couldn't roll, but when souls came to my game they paid a quick price for it. Heh.
