It could also be that he hasn't played it in over a year, like me. If I were to go and pick it back up after this long, it would take me a little while to get back in to the hang of it as well.

Also, this has now become my most wanted game of '11.

My dad made it through most of the first Uncharted and he plays like that. It just takes him a while.

A) he has to talk to the developers
B) interact with the audience
C) hasn't played this one at all
D) pressured for time (hence why the demo cuts off suddenly)

Put anyone in front of a camera on live TV, then made to do several things at once and you're bound too suck from all the distractions. Fallon probably sucks at Uncharted 2 in general, but he has to sell the idea that he knows it anyway.

All of this. As big of an undeserving tool I think that Fallon is, he's kind of got to react with the audience and get those in the crowd who couldn't give two shits about the gameplay to actually give two shits.

If this manages to top 2, as in, have a last third that doesn't suck (story wise anyway, seriously, I wanted to beat Flynn to a bloody pulp myself, not have it shown to me in a cutscene!) compared to the previous two thirds, then this will be the GOTF.

Until Uncharted 4 rolls around. Which will happen, and will also be glorious.

Yeah, Naughty Dog said they wanted to have a stand-off with Harry Flynn but couldn't do it for whatever reason and ended up going with the Lazarevic fight which they weren't too happy about. I think they'll definitely work around that.

yeah, boss fights in Uncharted have been a bit underwhelming.
The first one was balls because it just ended up being a tougher cover/shoot sequence, although I did like the short semi-QTE fistfight at the end.
The second one was just standard run and gun.
here's hoping they manage a truly epic final battle in the third one.

As much as people hate them QTE's are the way to go for grand boss fights.

The boss fight in 2 on Crushing drove me fucking apeshit.

Agreed, that was insane. It took forever to figure out the right route and follow it exactly the right way that you won't die.

I figured out the route really quick, I just kept fucking dying anyway. I wound up emptying a clip into him, then hopefully that shit stuns him, where then you run up and melee the shit out of him, and afterward he'd grab you, headbutt you and some shit and toss you far away, doing lots of damage but you were far enough to recover without him all up in your nuts. I think that's how it was, I got lucky.

That was infuriating. In the end I caved and found a glitch on youtube where you hang from a certain ledge and you can pop up and shoot a bulb of the tree sap to damage him, and then shuffle along the ledge and he can't hit you.



I am ashamed. But I had been trying for like 2 straight hours on the same boos fight and I gave up. So yeah, my platinum is only slightly tainted. Sorta.
