So I'm planning on doing a Destructoid relief print, and selling them for an upcoming Dtoid charity event. If you guys have a moment, maybe swing by here and let me know what you think?

Tried my hand at making a sprite for the first time. Been playing a lot of Nuclear Throne lately and thought it'd be cool if Vlambeer's logo was a playable character. It's s'alright.

The things you do when you're bored. Inspired by an offhand comment I made in the anime thread a few days back.

    Hello,

Long time dtoider here. I've been doing music in bands and solo electronic stuff for years, my latest thing is quite ambient treated guitar stuff. If there are any prospective indie game makers here that want to use anything give me a shout. Not interested in money, would just prefer it out there doing something.

Processed resampled guitar stuff- Think a beatless Boards Of Canada vs. William Basinski listening to Mogwai .

*cough* industrial/electronic/ house (probably NOT videogames)

    https://soundcloud.com/wintex-cimex-83

Reviews of my last release 'protect and survive' (noisy electronics, think SAW soundtracks without the music)

Protect and survive available by request.

If anyone's interested, just let me know what you want to use and what for. Totally open to editing stuff to suit, 16/8 bit remixes etc..

^I saw scaryjims post and thought I can post my SoundCloud account too!

I use FL studio and don't know much on the program as it is huge but it is fun! Pretty much use Direct Wave and Sytrus + Piano roll, play stuff on my guitar then figure the notes out and move it over into a keyboard sound (Set Sail and August2, 2012 is stuff I play on guitar)

I have a bit of everything in there I guess!

Don't be dissuaded from your original thread. Something like this kinda deserves one, at least I feel that way.

That is extremely terrifying. I think the last row and second to the left looks most like JLO. The one on the far right almost looks like Amanda Bynes. But I am impressed with how detailed work can be hand done on something so small.

I'm willing to commission it, sure. We can work it out in private.

Slowly working my way back into crafting after a bit of a hiatus. Hand embroidered a patch for JJ and now I'm sculpting a polymer clay dragon. Nice to have a project again.

So, in our new building at work, we have whiteboard paint all on the walls for projects and stuff. The break room is like the art gallery.

We had aerospace bigwigs in for a conference this week from all over. The board asked for our impressions of the future of aeronautics.

For being in dry erase marker, I don't think I did half bad.

    Spoiler!

It took me way longer than it should have to find this thread :P I didn't want to make a thread for myself, because I knew there was a community thread. I just didn't think to look in The Bar.

I've probably posted in this thread before. I'm trying to be more active with my music, mainly in regards to playing piano.

I have a YouTube Account for my music. The focus is on Piano Journals.

This is the most recent one: August 25, 2014 25 minutes, 58 seconds.

I apologize for the length. A Piano Journal is basically just me playing what I feel like playing. I generally avoid playing non-original songs, but I also experiment, so there's always the possibility that I end up playing something that sounds like another composer's piece. It's usually unintentional, and if I were to make a journal focused on non-original music, I would include the songs I am attempting to play in the description of the video.

I understand people don't have 30 minutes to listen to some jerk beat off on a piano, so I wanted to try to start a new thing called Piano Bites. The idea is to restrict myself to no more than 5 minutes of playing what I feel like.

I've only done one Piano Bite so far: August 9, 2014 2 minutes, 13 seconds.

I also have a ton of original music on my YouTube, hopefully split up into playlists. There is a lot of music, so I understand if no one wants to listen due to lack of interest, being overwhelmed, any reason at all. I'm not looking to make a living off of my music. I just want to share what I do.

    That's pretty awesome, I like!

The one thing I regret is not taking piano lessons but I still think I will one day. I like to play as well and make tunes (posted my Sound Cloud account above somewhere...) but I want to learn how to read notes and all that and PLAY crazy stuff like what you do.

While I have some basic knowledge of music from playing Trumpet in the school band, I could never carry it over to piano. Everything I play on the piano is a combination of listening to the notes (by ear), and also memory of certain chords and progressions I've learned over the 20+ years of messing with keyboards. Piano sheet music is way too confusing for me to understand. As is music theory, although my brother helped me out a little bit with some basic concepts.

Music lessons are great I bet. Even with my ability where it is at, I wouldn't turn down more knowledge and technique. It would just reinforce my current methods.

Also, I don't recall if I shared this with you, as my memory is quite horrible, but you were on the Dtoid April Fools Album

    Hahaha awesome!

I know I gave you a couple songs to create something but I never knew you created it, lol.

This is a piano song I created in FL studio, easily the most time I have spent on a single tune
