For anyone who like to get their art/creativity on.

(I search to see if there is already a thread for any creativity/art, but didn't see any.)

I don't consider myself an artist, but I do like to create and make things.

for example: my daughter's tutu and "girltoid" onesie.


i recently purchased a sowing machine, but haven't made anything on it yet. hopefully soon, i have a friend that makes some wicked cool stuff, and hopefully she can teach me some of her sowing skills.

i try to draw, but get frustrated real easily with it. i just can get what's in my head down on paper. this was my last attempt trying to draw something off the top of my head:

There was a thread for artists, but it's been dead for so long I can't imagine we'll get any complaints about it.

That Girltoid outfit is absolutely adorable! The tutu goes really well with it, too.



These are a pair of shoes I customized for a friend of mine- they were super-fun to make, and I'm pretty proud about how quickly I was able to create the design and execute it. All I have to do now is get a waterproofing spray to ensure the fabric markers don't get washed away.

Hey guys, look! It's a pot that's also an elephant! AMAZING, I know!



So yeah, I make stuff out of clay sometimes. The elephant pot is the only thing I've got a picture of though. I made it about one and a half year ago. It's face and behind exploded during firing so I had to glue it back together. Still, I'm really satisfied with it.

I remember there being a drawing thread because I remember posting in it. But I like this idea better. It's a broader spectrum!

I would also like to explore with fabric pens. I've always wanted to make shoes that had Toejam on one and Earl on the other (from the old Sega Genesis game). I think I have something to do this weekend now....!

You vector? I'm pretty shitty at it. Don't have the patience it takes to do something half decent and end up skipping details and shit. I'm doing a vector of my current avi because I'm unhappy with it's quality.

Nice work on the vectors, Moe! I really need to learn how to use those one of these days...

One thing I'd like to mention is that your Wonder Woman's pose is a bit stiff- see the way her arm's pointed straight out from the shoulder? Try bending the arm just a bit and see if the pose doesn't automatically become more dynamic. Keep it up, though, I'd like to see more!

@Moe: I like the vector drawing but I agree about the arm, small pose changes can make a big difference. Also: what flavor is the soap? I saw a soap on etsy recently that was bratwurst scented and iPhone shaped. I had to lol when I saw that and now I want one.

The story behind this cake is,
Every year, two friends gather within a kitchen as small as a closet to make a birthday cake for one of there best friends birthdays.

We have made 3 cakes so far, this so happened to be one of the most recent of the three.

The past two cakes were of Okami, and Transformers.

But all and all, we do it for we love video games, that much.
