The tables at the wedding I worked at today were Arsenal and Leeds themed: each table had a designated player from either team with key facts about them on a laminated card. Rather tacky, but that's not the point.

I eyed the Leeds tables with something akin to derision, but for the life of me I couldn't think why. Then I remembered this thread. You've inspired mild dislike towards Leeds FC from a Midlander who's generally apathetic towards football. Congratulations!

I've never been to Yorkshire myself, but the county that gave the world Yorkshire pudding sounds A-OK to me.

My train to Inverness went through York, therefore I have been to Yorkshire at least once and can be here.

Meanwhile, I prefer Scotland to most other places. Accents are nicer and the nicer areas have approx 1 Whisky distillery/maltings/whatever per person.

Also I should write down SC's address or something so I can rub myself on his door handle or something should I find myself in Leamington Spa, which is not hugely unlikely.
