    The Jimquisition: BioShock Infinite

    Watch the episode here.

I am definitely looking forward to this game. While I think it would be interesting if Columbia was the inspiration for Andrew Ryan's Rapture, this really doesn't need to be in the same timeline let alone universe as the events of Bioshock. I do hope there are horror elements though, at least in some areas. I'd give anything to see that demo.

    Anyway. Great video.

Gamers make some of the stupidest arguements about the stupidest of things...

I'm psyched for Bioshock Inifnite mainly cuz if the game takes place in the sky, there is much potential for knocking enemies off the world and watching them plummet, which is definately the most satisfying way to kill em.

Fucking yes. And you could kick enemies out of windows and such. I wonder if the girl's levitation abilities in the video could work the same way in the game, in that if you're flung into the abyss she can grab you mid-air and levitate you back to solid ground.

Bioshock was a breath of fresh air in an otherwise stale industry. ( too hash? )
It was a powerful, emotional, and beautiful experience that many fell head over heels in love with before they even set foot outside the bathesphere.
When something like that comes along, I for one become fixated.
It's not at all difficult to understand why 2k marin tried to recreate that experience. I wanted it, you wanted it, and if you didn't then I hate you.

To me bioshock is more of an idea than an art deco underwater city or an idealistic and ultimately well meaning antagonist ruling with an iron fist, it's about questioning morality, humanity and the depth of depravity contrasted with the height of our dreams, both in terms of story telling and in gameplay.

Why can't that happen at the turn of the century in a HG wells inspired steampunk floating city in the sky? tell me!
