So this Millicent Patrick lady designed the Gill-man from the Creature from the Black Lagoon flicks.

    Also, she's hot.

    Well, was.

Obviously these shots were taken for some kind of publicity, considering I doubt she wore that much jewelry to work on a daily basis. And those shoes. It's odd that they even had her dress up for these pics since she didn't get any credit and basically had her credit taken by some dude for half a century.

That's pretty sad. Sounds like an interesting lady though, did she make anything else of note?

Looking at her IMDb, the Gill-man is the highest profile thing she did. Though she apparently did creature design on a few other movies, the most notable being This Island Earth (that one also uncredited). That and a string of small time acting parts.

From an old Austrian tv-programme. For kids.

    Drugs were involved, i guess

I think that's pretty much true of all kid's TV.

That is true, but I think the drugs are mostly coated with saccherine film.
In this case it was a hard drinker hosting a live kid-audience.
You could watch Clown Habakuk going downhill over the years (due to weed and alcohol abuse). It felt really dirty.

When I was a kid, Morgan Freeman was a vampire who hung out with Spider-man.

The show's name was The Electric Company and it was amazing.

Was before my time, but watching this on youtube makes me feel sad for the current generation of children. This beats the shit out of the garbage they have now.

It's still the best live action version of Spider-man I've ever seen. The newer ones didn't even get his costume right. Plus the villains were insane. "Spidey vs. The Wall". That was dude's power. He was a wall.

Come to think of it why the fuck is Spidey giving that guy a hot dog? Shouldn't he be avenging the brutal assault on Umpire Morgan Freeman? Shit was bananas.

So I was watching the TGS podcast the other day and there was a very special moment that I had to capture to share with everyone.

He didn't bother with explanations. Why would he? He was The Wall!
