Information essentially, I read an article sometime ago that refered that, the deep web is ofetn used by University's a a way to share information with each other, of course you can't normally acess those kind of things with your normal browser.
But yeah the "media" only refer to waht is shocking and scary.
Goverment files and security is also part of deep web.
