HOLY SHIT IT'S GATSBY'S CHEST
FAPFAPFAPFAPFAPFAPFAPFAPFAPFAPFAPFAPFAP
Now I remember why I don't go to the gym...
I haven't been big on getting attention in public since high school, where I would get cockblocked by bigger assholes. I couldn't give a fuck less now.
OT, I find it weird that my pecs never go away even though I hardly work out anymore. They're not necessarily big, they're just there. And then I see guys who work out, with a nearly flat chest, and I'm like WTF.
It all depends on your body shape, honestly. My husband has always had a smaller chest than most dudes even though he does chest exercises heavy. His arms and shoulders are insane though and he doesn't even work as hard on those.
Me? I have small calves. I spend a lot of time on them, but they just don't seem to want to grow as fast as I would like. I ended up pulling my right one a few weeks ago, so I've had to take it a little easy on them.
Huh. Guess it's just a genetic thing. If that's the case then I'll probably be losing it sooner or later since I just look worse as I get older, no matter what.

I started lifting and getting ready for competition a long time ago, around age 22.
This is the only pic I really have from that period, sorry for the blur
But, after making some stupid decisions(hard partying the night before heavy lifts), I injured myself badly. Couldn't lift for a year, than got lazy in the following years. And fat. Here's where I started as a year and a half ago. I'm the fat dude on the left.
I weighed 290 lbs, size 44 inch waist, couldn't bench 200lbs, etc.
I hit the gym really hard. Before long I looked like this
And of course, you've all seen the pics I've posted of my recent progress.
My guitarist used to be in really good shape when he was younger, closer to my age (he's like 34, I'm 24.)
I was hanging out at his house one day and he had an old picture of him on his fridge and he looked WAY different, very buff. Similar to usedtabe's first picture.
Then he had a football accident and fucked up his leg REALLY bad. He still walks with a slight limp and has to walk really slow.
He was forced into bed rest and basically being non-mobile for a long time and things took their course and now he's just fat.
He's on a strict diet and exercise program right now and has been losing a LOT of weight though.
Here's a fairly recent picture of him, you've probably seen him before but for clarity's sake;
That was a few months ago and he's lost even more weight since then, but it's hard for him.
On that note his leg scar is SUPER fucking gnarly, and he tells people that ask about it that he got attacked by a shark.
Yeah, it's real easy to just slip like that. I had a temp job that required me to cycle something like 10 miles a week and I was in crazy shape for a few months, then my contract was up and didn't really need the bike. I was pretty much back to square 1 through sheer laziness. Not that I've ever been fat, but my circulation needed massive improving.
Now I try and take the BMX out every weekend and ride laps around this massive lake nearby. Once a week is okay for burning off the calories, but I'm nowhere near the fitness I was in with that job.
The job was shit, but the ride was worth it.
Wow. Usedtabe...you looked like a completely different person in that heavier picture.
I'm hoping that I can stay away from injuries...I'm pretty careful about technique and if I feel something pull wrong, I back away for a while...which is why my calf muscle healed so fast I think.
Men generally are more stubborn when it comes to injuries, I've noticed...they don't like resting
But ya. Just took this. Sorry for the shitty picture. Not really much as far as abs go, but I'm FINALLY breaking through this crappy-ass plateau I hit. My shoulders are starting to look better for sure.

THE POWER OF MIDRIFF COMPELS YOU
I just recently started to go back to the Gym. I've been heading back for almost 2months, and started to trim a bit of the gut.
I find its harder to stick to eating right, than to actually going to the gym. I enjoy my time spent at the gym; It lets me vent out my excess frustration from work/life. When you live alone and you're severely lazy like me, taking the time to prepare all your meals ahead of time is a royal pain in the ass.
Yaaay Moe pic!
Anyway I had to skip gym today. Stupid math class and its ton of homework.

The results of my new triceps routine.
Before:
After:
These were taken on a day I don't even work my triceps. The cell camera didn't catch as much as of the blowout, but they are huge and have big cuts compared to before.
Moe> Looking good!
UsedTabe> Nice! I love the pictures where you wear glasses. It just looks super badass for some reason.
