In episode 1: "Podblast", we talk about zombies, Transformers, comic book/super hero movies, internet fame, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles anime, what games we've been playing, Avatar, who would win in a fight between Godzilla and Cthulhu, our history with Destructoid, Mxy being black, short films we have and haven't made, and finally we lift the veil on Project Mario.

This turned out a bit longer than anticipated, and any questions/feedback/suggestions for improvement are welcome! Let us know what you think and how we can do better next week!

great podcast. length is good, sound quality is good, topics are good, flow is good. i will be listening to this alongside electric hydra every week.

one issue with the editing, though--there were a few times when people got cut off toward the end of their sentences, especially when leading into breaks. might want to work on that next time.

Thanks for the feedback and glad you liked it! The cuts seemed to transition much more smoothly when we did the actual editing, not sure what happened there. It was done late at night so it's possible sleepiness played a factor, or maybe something happened when exporting the wav; we'll try to avoid it next episode.

EPISODE 2!

This is actually the third show we recorded, but we're probably saving the earlier one for next week. We had two guests join us this time, which resulted in the episode being a bit chaotic. This time we discuss the deadly velobsteraptor and shelephark, argue with each other for far too long about Superman's ability to travel through time, cover some comic movie news, talk a bit about our videos, dream about a Pokemon MMO and retro games we'd like to see get HD remakes, and once again babble on about Transformers.

I also made a guest appearance on an episode of Dispatches from the Weird, which is sort of like our podcast but it covers more eclectic entertainment topics and actually has a structure. Check it out if you just can't get enough of my slightly effeminate voice.

Episode 3 is out (well, has been out a while)! This time we talk about 80's nostalgia. Since my computer is broken I haven't heard the final edit. Someone tell me whether or not it sucks. Links are in my last post.

episode 3 was good, though i personally would relate more to a podcast about 90's nostalgia, having been born in 1985. i either didn't remember or hadn't heard of most of the stuff you talked about. still fun to listen to, though.
