After seeing the E3 trailer for this, I can officially say I'm excited. I had some doubts when they were talking about the cut mechanisms - I thought it was going to be a kinect title - but they didn't mention anything about it.

So... anyone else excited for Metal Gear Solid: Rising?

not too hot on the enemy design, but then they just show glimpses of cut mechanics, the action itself still in the dark, if it would be anything like bayonetta I'm sold

I hope it has an awesome physics engine so I cut people into neat sections and then nudge dismembered body parts around so I can create a Frankenstein guard.

That's what my friend and I did with a flick-knife on Fallout 3.

I think it will reach a wider audience too. I've never played MGS3 or 4, I've only played MGS2 and a couple of the PSP games. I haven't really been excited about the release of a MGS game before now.

I hate to break the silly chain here, but what's with some MGS games going on the PC and some others not going the PC? I'm fucking ecstatic that this one is because I don't have any consoles, but I just wonder why 3 and 4 never made it.
