Don't mind coon, he's just sad that he can't slack off at school anymore. And he's an asshole.

He does make a point. Well, as much a point as a dick can make. There hasn't been any activity one way or another on getting a community meet-up together.

Another Texas Dtoider here. Since the university isn't in session, I'm back home in Pleasanton, a little south of San Antonio. Otherwise, I'm always in College Station. Would love to have some Dtoid get-togethers at some point. Once I get my google account set up and such, or remember the password, I'll get in on the group.

So I'm thinking a meet up could happen in "Cut and Shoot, Texas", if only for the damn name.

Austin seems like a central hub. I would say my apartment in College Station could hold people, but with the way this group seems to be growing, it would be hard fitting people in for the night. That, and neighbors and room-mates might have a problem (more so the neighbors than room-mates, as the others are nerds as well).

Looks like 18 people or so? The apartment could hold that probably, but not for sleeping, haha.

Alright, all you new kids are in. Make yourselves at home, put your feet up, start new threads, blah blah blah.

Glad to know we're loved, but that we can't drag our nerd asses on the carpet.

E-mail me, sunshine. I'll send you an invite, you get into the google group, we sit around for a while, wonder why we don't hang out, talk about meeting in Austin and never actually decide anything because reasons. It's all good fun.

Not old enough to Narp yet, but I do live in Texas. Whats the age again?

EDIT: @RoninZero Cut and shoot is the KKK capital of Texas, and a shithole.

It sounded like it just by the name. Once I get to the apartment and move in, I'll see what the size is and how many people might be able to fit. And then torture the roommates until they say they're cool with it.

McChiken I don't know what College Station ever did to you, but it's really not that bad. Yeah it is pretty conservative and can be intolerant, but I lived there for 5 years and never seen one Klan member, and there are much, much larger shitholes in Texas than CS.
