Hey boys and girls, it's bleh. With Coonskin doing the whole "School/drive the fuck around the country for god knows what reason" thing, he's been busy. So busy, in fact, that we as a group haven't done anything in a while.

Well, WE have, but I digress...

Anyway, I think it's high time for us to get together and cause some mayhem. I know all these other "groups" are having fun and hanging out and getting people together, but us? We ain't done shit. Mostly it's "distance," or some other excuse (Solgrim -__-), but I think that, with a little planning, we could have an awesome little shindig sometime in the near future.

With that being said, what's good for y'all? Is there a city that's better/closer to everyone? Is there a time that we could get together over a weekend that would work for, if not everyone, more than one person?

Right now, I'm in Shreveport, Louisiana (and one of Coons first stops). I don't own a car, but trains, planes, and buses are not out of the question. As for dates, I'm not sure. I'm going to be taking summer classes, while working and going to driving school (though that'll only be for a week or two).

But I bet I can set up a 4 day weekend somewhere in the next 2 months.

I also agree on Austin seeing as how I live in Austin. Unfortunately, I sure as hell cannot host cuz I live in a small apartment and I'm pretty sure my girlfriend (who lives with me) would not appreciate a bunch of nerds coming over and nerding it up. I do that enough as it is and she barely puts up with me.

I'm gonna be a dick and suggest not Austin because hotels cost money and with my shitty back I can't deal with sleeping on someone's couch or floor. It would be nice to lure some people farther away like Krip here.

I'd love for the meetups to be in Houston since we've got this awesome Barcade place near Minute Maid Park that does freeplay nights on the first and last Friday of each month. The obvious ulterior motive is that I live in Houston. I might be able to be arsed to drive to Austin if theres a couch to crash on.

I also can't really host much living in a tiny apartment myself. But an offsite meetup there would be pretty kickass.

I do plan on heading up to Dallas for SGC in the first weekend in July. Who says we can't rotate cities?

Another issue I have is that I'm only 20, so getting into bar's is an issue (unless they tag 18+ folk such as myself). Now if this shin dig happens in after November, hell yea.
