This is the first time I've ever regret buying something on steam. Retail and gog purchasers don't have to deal with this shit.

I'm just glad there's a 360 version coming. My PC would probably burst into flames if it tried to run this.
The best game I played in 2011, The Witcher 2 is coming to Xbox 360 on April 17. Xbox owners will get an 'Enhanced Edition’ of the game, with new quests, characters, animations, and cut scenes. If you already own The Witcher 2, you'll be getting this additional content for free, so thats great news for 360 and PC owners.

I'm super excited to dip back into this again come April, is anyone here going to be picking this up?
Don't be retarded, buy this game.
I have it on PC and haven't started it yet. Getting the 360 LE version to because i'm an ass.
Yeah, I've already double dipped on this one and will likely pickup the 360 Dark Edition or whatever it's called for the wolf pendent. Encouraged to see that act 3 will be fleshed out a little more (it was a little too brief for my fancy the first time around).
Thisn is coming to Xbox 360? Ooooh a purchase may have to be made.
I wanna do Dark Mode, but I wish it was a new game+ sort of thing.
Pretty much a masterpiece game though.
When you say act 3 is fleshed out more is that already out on PC??? If not when is that hitting PC???
I don't want to start it now until it does.
It's supposed to hit when the console version comes out.

I'm glad this comes out on 360 a month after ME3. When I get that, nothing else is getting played for at least two weeks.
Idk if this will be a day one purchase but yeah, looks like something I'd like.
Yeah I'll wait a while before I get it, as ME3 will set me into hibernation mode.
My understanding is that the patch will be rolled out the week of 360 release. Waiting to play is a pretty decent shout actually (might as well get the full experience after all); you might want to consider whizzing through the first game in the meantime if you havent already done so.
I must have the wolf keychain. Day 1.
Wait, what are they doing to act 3?
The developer diary (previous page) makes mention of 'beefing up' the final act, with additional side quests and story events.
I thought that was just about the 360 version, but I'm hyped. Especially about the control implementation; the PC version doesn't even support true analog movement with the 360 gamepad.
TW2 does support the 360 pad on PC, though the port to console will see tweaks made to camera and gamplay. All the additional story based content will be made available to PC owners for free, which is great news for those of us looking for an excuse to start a second playthrough. Wonderful studio and game, I hope both get the support they deserve.
