Spoken like a Sony fanboy. The 360 version reigns supreme regardless of your denial.

PS3 one has a bunch of omitted cutscenes, native 720p instead of upscaled 480p, and gameplay changes(i.e. less of a hassle).

The 360 version is the Original, the Michael Jordan of Deadly Premonition.

The PS3 version is the Remix, the Kobe Bryant of Deadly Premonition.

EDIT: THE PS3 SAYS "THE PICKLES" THE ORIGINAL SAYS "CAN OF PICKLES" FUCK THE PS3 VERSION IT IS THE WORST

The PS3 version stutters constantly, runs between 5-25 FPS, the audio cuts out and desyncs during cutscenes, and it echoes regularly.

Oh, and now it doesn't matter if you don't bathe anymore, people will still talk to you. In the original version, nobody would talk to your stanky ass if you didn't come washed. Even the characters in the game have had to lower their standards in order to get through this version.

So I agree, it is the Kobe version, inferior in every way to the original. I base this off of my extensive historical knowledge of basketball.

AND THEY TOOK THE CREST TOOTHPASTE OFF THE SHELF IN THE MILK BARN!

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT?! I DON'T WANT CRESS, I WANT CREST! Yo, I hope you're happy, Jake the Doodoo Eater. This is what happens when you lose your standards. How can a company respect their customers when they don't even respect themselves?

You can still get some Trix tho. Well, at least before they get hit with that copyright infringement.

Can you use your saves from the original game on the DC?

If you don't change suits to clean them after a while, you'll eventually have flies buzzing around you. They'll even show up in cutscenes, too. In the original game, nobody would talk to you when that happened, but I guess that was loosened up in the Director's Cut.

Oh right, I thought you meant he could actually bathe. But yeah, it's a shame, seems like they've taken out a fair few of the more interesting aspects of the original.

Not even joking, I spent hours looking at all the random ass images on shit in the grocery store and the posters in the hospital. I guess that answers my question as to whether or not they made any of that stuff more legible with textures made after 2001.

Had no idea they were sitting on a PC version.

    Voted up, fingers crossed.

Even if it's a shit port (it will be), I'm sure some kind modders will fix it. Nothing to lose!

  18. #218
I'm going to wait for a sale (if it's released), and like you say I expect it'll be the modders who fix everything.

I wonder how much it'll retail for.

    There's a PC trailer too:

Ha! It's the same as the PS3 trailer, so I guess it's just a port with (proposed) new DLC.
