I was feeling rather incomplete without a companion, but then I realized you can't force this stuff. So I've been taken some time for myself for a while now, which isn't so bad.

Being single is not the worst thing in the world. I've been the happiest person ever since I stopped dating people. I get to do whatever the hell I want when I want, and I don't have to bend my life to the whims of another person who only has a fleeting interest in me before her self-interests throw her into the arms of somebody else. I don't know if I ever want to be with another person again, just for the fact that I value the peace and quiet so damn much. If someone comes along that makes me feel otherwise, then I'm open to it. But I don't actively look for it now.

The funny thing is that I used to be the complete opposite. I'd have mental breakdowns when I was first single and felt that I couldn't live in this world if I didn't have someone to share it with. How things change.

I am really fed up with suffering stress and sadness due to the lack of communication between people in a professional capacity and friends who are lazy and keep making excuses.

As if I've not enough on my plate I'm having to deal with issues that are the result of other people, because they can't be bothered to make any efforts themselves and what's worse is it's serious legal and financial issues.

Life would be free of these annoyances if I just moved back home. Yeah I'd basically live a solitary life until I die, but I feel like I live that sometimes as it is only at home I wouldn't be burdened by threats made due to other peoples fuck ups. Then when you actually solve the problem, the problem made by others, you don't get any thanks which is fine, use to it. But you get shit.

Life is full of assclowns, just try to embrace those that make you feel good and positive, the negatives will never go away but focusing on the better parts really does help to put the bullshit in it's place. You'll still have to deal with it, but try not to let it be the majority of thoughts on your mind.

Well I just got off the phone with the council and managed to stop a court summons and reduce a massive arrear amount that isn't even eligible to be paid by me. I deserve a morning drink. A long hard morning drink.

Now the Hydra Effect (as I call it) will happen (whereby one problem is erased to be replaced by 5 more). I was told I should try positive thinking but yeah...

I'm tired of being taken advantage of and whenever I want my voice heard it seems to have the opposite effect. I have been working so hard and even so my hard work is just not going anywhere or paying off. I feel at times I'm being pressured and I don't think I can handle what is being asked of me in the Spring. I just wish there were people on my side like back home. The boyfriend is my only sanity at this point and that's terrible.

My Dad goes in for a major operation to remove a cancer-ridden organ in a few days. I wish I could be there to see him.
