I've been so busy with nothing to do more or less in the summer holidays. I'm thankful it at least only started at the end of June this year.

Finished up work at the end of April, but it's only really in the last couple of weeks I've had downtime. Even then, I need that time for reading. Gone are my days of video game binging, I fear. After PAX.

BUT I remembered I also finished Guardian of Light. So that's something.

I hate to seem vain by quoting one of my own posts, but I kinda feel like I should clarify what I meant here. I don't mean to be rude by saying I don't care about one of our badges. What I'm trying to say is that badges aren't the reason I'm here.

I hang around because I like you people. All of you. Even that one weird kid in the back, whoever he may be. It's not for a sense of glory or rank or anything like that.

So, yeah. Just didn't want to be ungrateful or anything. You guys help me more than you know.

That's what I loved about the badge system in the first place. You have to actually get involved or give some effort to earn most of them. I hate missing out on the 4th year ann. badge but I was deciding back then whether or not I'd stick around.
