    Best non-store place to get your games

    it's simple - i have no damn money. I blow it all on games and booze.

    Question is where does everyone get their games (preferably online), and anybody know any of those rare sites I come across every so often that offer good deals ...

    Don't say GameStop, i HATE gamestop ...

    Tiger Direct or New Egg. Steam also works, I guess.

    Agreed with what everyone else said, but from the way your post is written is sounds like you're looking for a way to get games for free in which case find where to get pirated copies of games on your own.

    I second Amazon (you can get used for cheap, and generally their condition is great) and Goozex is supposed to be pretty solid.

    I'd be all over Goozex, problem is I never want to give away my games, even the crappy ones.

    If you want cheap, digital copies of PC games visit www.g2play.net

    Some of the Steam supported games like The Orange Box and Warhammer Dawn Of War 2 are pretty cheap.

    For PC games, Steam is really the only good place to get it if you wanna stay away from gamestop. They always have good deals on games, and generally good ones too. For ex. just recently they had a sale for TF2. It was $2.50...

    these are all pretty good. I like goozex, but agree i like to keep my games.

    My buddy just turned me on to TinFlip, which will have some good deals but more importantly gives out free games a lot but you have to get there at the right time:

    And i've been using Newegg for a while, but not for video games, so i might have to check that out

    eBay. If you have time and reasonable expectations you can find pretty much any game at a fine price.

    I agree completely. I refuse to give away or trade any of my games, ever. I even hate loaning them them to friends because friends I have had have either stolen or broken the games. Fucking scumbags, who steals games or breaks games from people they call their friend.
