Iknorite? The Donner/Singer films are fascinating when you start to read between the lines. If Superman had done things which were less than super, how would anyone know it? He could go on like, Skyrim rampages throughout Metropolis just to blow off steam. Then when he's done he just flies around the world and boom, previous save reloaded.
And Lois? Lois will be twenty something forever.
But he'll always know that Cyclops tapped that ass too. Dammit. I need to see Man of Steel. all this supertalk.
Cyclops is always getting the shitty deal. Raising Superman's kid. Getting killed by his dead girlfriend.
PS. Warning, spoilers for allegedly bad films.
Superkid's fake dad was entertaining in his own way. He could've been a truly unlikable character but the way he played it was so awkwardly naive as to be sympathetic. Like when Lois comes in from the roof, her hair's all messed up, Jimmy gets that "oh shit" look on his face -- then Cyclops is like, "have you been smoking?" lol
I actually like Marsden, but I'll never stop giving him shit. Doesnt help he really does get shit roles most of the time. Anyone seen Sexdrive though? The unrated version of that is fucking great in a stupid comedy way. Plus they call him Cyclops in the movie. Instant win.
Cyclops plays JFK in an Oscar bait drama they trailered before Man of Steel. Crazy Eyes Whitaker plays a dude who was a butler to lots of presidents. Sabertooth plays LBJ. COINCIDENCE?
Ain't no LBJ not named Randy Quaid
Watched Silent Hill:Revelation on Netflix. Dat fan service. Also the ending throwback to Origins made my heart smile.
That reminds me, finally got around to watching Wolverine: Origins the other night. The Deadpool thing didn't bother me so much because the film wasn't about him anyway, but it seemed odd that the video game has a better ending.
Wolverine's girl tells the Colonel to start walking, then she walks into the nearby lake and goes under just seconds before Logan wakes. He walks away alone, and the next thing you see is a flash forward to an older Hugh Jackman hiding from Sentinels in a scene out of Days of Future Past. Sooo much better than having a definitive answer as to whether he'd remember the girl or not. I didn't think Gambit was necessary in that particular scene and neither was the following part where Stryker was brought in for questioning by the military. The game version is just straight up Clint Eastwood, majestic and noble in its simplicity, while the movie ends...like a video game. Kinda weird how that worked out but there you have it.
