    Sounds about right.

    Second to last flic I saw was Dark Knight Rises, much was expected but still enjoyed. Had to leave the last 50 minutes for another viewing as my arse was sore after the first two hours.

    Jen got me to watch Let the Right One In the other night, damn sweet movie. Fought back tears at the final scene.

    You know what broke my heart? The last five minutes of the last Rambo movie.

    He walks down that lonely road to his parents' house and he doesn't know if there's anybody waiting for him. After everything he did, he's just another Dorothy. He just wanted to click his heels together and go home.

    ...WHEN YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN. ;_;

    Seriously, that film was fucking worthwhile. Then they reduced it to dumbass action.

    Rewatched Predators and The Expendables.

    There's something about the way Predators goes "Hey, remember that bit in the first movie where..." every five minutes that gets really irksome on a repeated viewing. It really fucks up the finale, too. Royce uses the fires to hide his heat signature, but he puts on mud because Dutch did it (and because everyone loves that bit in Predator). It's utterly pointless and in a way would briefly cool him down, making his fire plan pretty redundant.

    I don't care much for The Expendables, but goddamn, I hate that thing with Jet Li where he says he has a family, but then he doesn't have a family, he just wanted more money. That ain't character development, that's just padding!

    Got a choice between Green Hornet, Real Steel and The Next Three Days - which one guys? Or all?

    The constant callbacks in Predators are a drag on an otherwise decent enough flick. You'd think that somebody would've taken notes on how cringeworthy the references were in the AVP flicks.

    I really didn't like The Expendables, but had a pretty good time with the sequel. They improved on a lot with part two.

    Green Hornet was better than I thought it would be. I haven't seen the others.

    Yeah, I didn't mind it the first time around because, hey, it was the first proper Predator movie in a long time and I like them better when they're a bunch of dicks and don't fight Aliens. Watching it a second time, it hit me that they're not actually in it all that much, either.

    I don't remember much about The Expendables, the first time around. I remember being a bit bored, though. Watching it again, I realise why - for a big film, it's on a tight budget, so nothing happens. It's just Statham and Stallone having a really weird bicker for 90 minutes, then they remember there's four other Expendables in the script and shoot up something or other.

    The movie needed a lot more Terry Crews. Most movies he's in do.

    Atleast he didn't pick up his hat a whole bunch of times.

    I like stuff like that though. Like the part in Avengers where Hawkeye shoots an arrow into the wind just so, and it blows back into one of the helicarrier's engines. Haven't seen much more of the film than that but yeah, that part was awesome.
