The one thing I've always found puzzling in Twilight is how they hype up these epic fights, and the end result turns out to be just a fight in the playground. You'd think more people would be concerned, but I guess the budget could only spring for the main cast plus three or four extras.

I'm with you for every movie but this one. The fight in this movie is legitimately amazing. No lie, I would put it far behind the 3rd acts of The Avengers or Cabin in the Woods. It's that good. Plus, the scale is actually quite large this time around. I would say a good 60-90 dudes were running around ripping heads off.

I saw that trailer the other day, looks God awful.

I watched 'Strippers vs Werewolves' last night, and it was actually somehow bearable. A start contrast from 'Zombies vs Strippers', which I could only take a few minutes of before turning it off when I attempted way back when. 'Zombies! Zombies! Zombies!' was a much more tolerable strippers-fighting-zombies flick, but that one was still terrible. But so was 'Strippers vs Werewolves', but again, it was a bearable form of terrible.

It's weird, I mean the fighting wasn't obviously fake. With the exception of that dumb ass whirlwind turn around punch Bane gave Batman in their first fight in the sewer the fight scenes were okay.

The slow motion used would make every movie fight ever look fake as hell, no need to be upset, it's the name of the game. Unless your watching a Rocky movie or an overseas movie with actual martial artists, then you know dudes are at least making contact.

Most Ridley Scott films have spotty scripts and fantastic direction. Prometheus was no different. He had nothing to do with all the gaping plot holes or logical dead ends that were in the script.

I do want to know whose decision it was to do away with the better first script that addresses a lot of the things people have complained about.

I liked Prometheus a lot! I'm all about dat visual splendor and it's so nicely shot. But seeing bits of the original script; man, some nonsensical changes done by the second writer.
