Steroidus Maximus.
Steroidus Maximus.
I reckon they cut his head off and stitched it onto an elderly bodybuilder.
Those damn cinema decepticons.
Just like the other bond movies with Daniel Craig: good as an action movie, terrible as a James Bond movie.
With his facial expressions he should play the main role in planet of apes not James Bond.
The only Craig Bond movie I've seen is about 30 minutes of Casino Royale. Mostly because I have like next to zero interest in them.
I didn't care a whole lot for the older ones either.
Watched Lockout yesterday. It certainly was a movie.
Guy Pearce made it enjoyable, he was pretty damn great as the "hero".
The credits stating "Based on an original idea by Luc Besson" makes me nerd rage though. For real. All the movie is is Escape from L.A. in space. Pearce's Snow is the Snake character, a "criminal" sent by the government to rescue the President's daughter from the clutches of criminals in a futuristic prison. There's nothing "original" about Besson's "idea".
Partial thoughts on Predators as I watched while eating dinner (and missing the first few minutes at least).
"Predators; or, Let's Kill Everyone But the White Americans
>Is Japanese
>Can automatically tell the age of a sword
Loony Laurence Fishburne has been the best part thus far, outside of Cool Japanese Guy (TM).
Woop, last minority is about to die!
And yet Topher Grace is allowed to live. Worst country ever.
Topher Grace needs to stop being allowed in things. Except, like, Traffic.
Also Adrien Brody is doing his best Christian Bale Batman impression, holy crap.
"I'M THE PREY THESE ALIENS DESERVE, BUT NOT THE ONE IT NEEDS RIGHT NOW""
It was definitely a movie.
You forgot to mention that Larry Fishburne is still fat after several years in hiding.
He's your typical "Yo, I'm cool and badass" character. Boring is a word that would fit, yeah, were it not for Pearce making the character enjoyable to watch.
Finally got around to watching The Amazing Spider-Man last night. Honestly I was a little underwhelmed by it. I think it had all the right elements to be a really great movie but towards the second half a part of it, I felt it really started to derail and plot points were wrapped up way to quickly with out a proper explanation. I though certain characters were great. Andrew Garfield yup you did it great job. However there were other characters that just had no real reason to be there.
Also Sony's product placement in that movie was beyond ridiculous.
Brave
Not what I was expecting. After a minute into the movie I thought "Damn, other than this girl is good at archery I have no idea what this movie is about"
Was good though. Felt a little disjointed at times, but nothing too bad.

I really hope there's something to the rumor of Carrie Fisher having confirmed her role in the next Star Wars. If she's coming back, then Hamill probably is too...and Harrison Ford...!
Idk, might be weird to see an elderly Han Solo but Old Man Skywalker would make perfect sense. He's about the same age as Alec Guinness was when he played Obi Wan in the original. It'd be an interesting bit of full circle, that.

Like I said it's just a rumor, but there's the link.
Nobody is confirmed, but Carrie and Mark have both said they would do it if asked. I dunno if anybody's talked to Harrison Ford yet but who knows. Apparently he hated the original movies when they were filming them (dunno if that's changed) and thought they were going to fail.
Harrison Ford didn't hate the movies, he just hated the dialogue.
They'll probably have him in the first of the new trilogy so he can pass on the mantle to his son played by Shia Le Beef.

I want to see Old Man Skywalker fight a psychic nazi played by Cate Blanchett.
Spoiler!

Here's the weird thing. That article I posted above links to another site, which reports that her representative played it off as a joke, like Fisher was simply being facetious. All that does is confirm that she said it. If she hadn't they'd have dismissed it outright. Now if it's true and she let it slip to a fan without thinking...they'd be playing it off exactly like they're doing right now.
