I am serious and when I can afford to shall indulge.
The real question is whether or not I mean cock porn.

Conan is a tougher one. I don't think it's off limits, because again it's not like the character didn't exist before Schwarzenegger's movies. The Momoa movie was just a bad movie. I watched it on netflix and it was slow and boring, which a Conan movie shouldn't be.
I dunno. Yeah I can't see anybody topping Arnold in the role, but the character isn't "his". That said, I'm not a fan of the character or his history, I'm a fan of Arnold as the character. So yeah, I dunno.
Anyone seen The Dictator yet?
Planning to watch it tonight. Also, loved the director's debut movie Borat..
so i have high hopes from it![]()
If you're a fan of Borat and Bruno, you'll also enjoy The Dictator.
that wasn't?
well what was it? and also was it equally good?
and fan of borat, not seen bruno yet, so i guess will see dictator tonight
thnx
Ali G Indahouse
All his characters (Bruno, Borat, Ali G) come from Da Ali G show.
CB was right but for the wrong reasons. You're both probably wrong in different assumptions.

it doesnt seem to be along the footsteps that he followed Borat onwards..
& since its peak time (midnight) in my hostel, that youtube video is taking ages to buffer :|
I naturally assumed he was talking about Sacha Baron Cohen but didn't realize he had said Director. Poop.
Yeah I did that too but I wasn't sure of who directed it. Ali G Indahouse is good but nowhere near as good as his characters/films since to me.
Watched Willem Defoe in The Hunter last night. Really good & it's now on Netflix Instant, if you're interested. Overall I quite liked it, but, particularly, there were a couple of scenes that absolutely floored me.
I caught that on netflix over the weekend and enjoyed it as well. Really nicely done flick, understated but not boring, with a relatively unique story.
As for more mainstream fare, I just got back from a screening of The Campaign and it was hilarious. Most likely my favorite Ferrell movie since Anchorman. Galifianakis was great opposite him, as was Dylan McDermott, and I just genuinely enjoy Jason Sudeikis in pretty much everything I've seen him in. I had no idea Dan Aykroyd, John Lithgow and Brian Cox were even in the movie, and they all have pretty important roles. There was a cool cameo towards the end as well.
My favorite scene/line is pretty much a spoiler as to what the candidates are willing to do to each other, and even though it's "just" as comedy spoilers suck so I'll tag it. It's a conversation/argument between Ferrell and Sudeikis as his campaign manager where Ferrell is adamant thatJust the whole back and forth between them over it, complete with a "book of bad ideas" had me cracking up, but there's so much more to laugh at in the movie, to me anyways. The humour worked throughout.Spoiler!
Also saw a trailer for Argo before the movie. It's Ben Affleck's new directorial effort and it looks as good as I thought it sounded. It stars Affleck, Brian Cranston, John Goodman, Alan Arkin, etc and is based on the true story of how some Americans were rescued during the Itan hostage crisis in the '70s. Looks good.
I liked parts of Bronson, but put together as a movie it didn't work.
I love Bronson, mostly for Hardy's performance.
The film is basically a series of sketches, but I like the approach. It would've been TV movie territory if they played it straight, and way too much to Chopper. I mean it's hard to make a movie about somebody who's been banged up all their life - how you make that more interesting and original to watch? You never truly get inside Bronson's head, just the artistic side to him, but that's sort of the point when you read about the guy.
"Now, hold on to your filings, right? Cos this is gonna get fackin' lairy..."
V/H/S is available now, gonna give it a go, not sure if I have any high expectations for it.
Still can't seem to get Red Lights anywhere.
