    I haven't read comics in a while, so this will be a mix of dudes I dug in the '90s through about five years ago maybe? And only from books I've actually read. So yeah, I like Mike Allred (X-Force/X-Statix, Madman), Ed McGuinness (Deadpool), Clayton Henry (Alpha Flight), Jim Calafiore (Deadpool, Exiles), Steve McNiven (Civil War), John Romita Jr (Spider-man) and Joe Madureira (X-Men).

    And probably a bunch more.

    Edit- And I really liked Darick Robertson's work, especially on the Rucka penned Wolverine relaunch. I loved how he drew him short, ugly and mean.

    I watched the new Spider-man movie the other night and wound up skipping the first half because it's just insulting at this point. The guy was married when I was eleven, had a damn fascinating history which evolved over a twenty year period and now that they've destroyed everything I liked about him, I'm supposed to be interested in a retread of his previous teen angst bullshit? So many fucks not given. The action parts were good but they were better in the video game, so I can't even give it credit for that. Hopefully they kill his girlfriend in the first twenty minutes of the sequel. It's not like his relationships have any meaning at this point anyway. Just show us a guy in a suit fighting Jamie Foxx and Paul Giamatti. That's all I ask. Oh yeah and the light up webshooters are cool too.

    btw a side note;

    <- this is not female Deadpool. I kinda suspect she's one of the sources Liefeld ripped off when he created his character. Her name is Nemesis, she came out a few years earlier if I'm not mistaken. Was pretty great too, there's more info in the link under "location". She had a sword which could cut anything because it was only one molecule thick! So awesome.

    Ikr? To be fair wikipedia does list Fabian Nicieza as a co-creator so yeah. It's kind of inspiring really. Even a guy like Liefeld can be productive when provided with adult supervision.

    Fabian Nicieza is the true writer of Deadpool, he is the best, also Deadpool (for those of you who don't know) is a rip-off from DC's DeathStrike aka Wade Wilson.

    And yes Sir, she did look like a female version of deadpool ar first, but I noticed something odd about it, that's when I saw your location, with that link

    As for my favourite artists: Chris Bachalo, John Romita Jr., Jim Lee, Alex Ross, Alex Garner, Ivan Reis, Mike Deodato, Joe Mad, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some.

    Oh I also love Rob "I can't draw feet" Liefeld (just kidding )

    You're crazy. Joe Kelly was the best, with Gail Simone right up there with him. When DP first showed up under Nicieza he wasn't all that great, and when Nicieza came back to the character in Cable & Deadpool it was fun but a real drop in quality from Simone's Deadpool/Agent X. Then Way came along and made C&DP look amazing in comparison.

    I might be crazy, but I really loved Cable & Deadpool, but yes Deadpool/Agent X really is amazing stuff. Way had 2 or 3 good issues...

    Im going to have to side with ZP. I was recommended Cable and Deadpool bunches of times and I finally read it and it was just alright. Ive read a lot of comics that I enjoyed that get half the acclaim of those books.

    Way had some good issues, and great ideas for stories to set Wade in, but his take on the character himself was so terribly off and turned him into this one note "Oh boy he so silly" joke. Deadpool was crazy/funny and all that, but there was always more to him before. Way took ideas that worked in small doses before under other writers, like breaking the fourth wall, and just overused them and drove it all into the ground. And the multiple personalities... Ugh. When I read the first dozen or so issues of Way's run I liked everything about it except for what he did with Deadpool himself. That part, the most important part, I hated.

    I get really "comic book nerd" about Deadpool.

    I totally agree with you on Way, there are some epic moments in his run.
    I would also like to point out that I read Simone's Deadpool/Agent X, after I read C&D, but as I am a huge Cable and all things X-Men related fan, that might be why I love C&D so much.
    After Nicieza stoped writting Deadpool for Marvel he went into DC and I tried to follow his work and enjoy his comics... but that did not happen, Gail on the other hand, is always great

    Oh that cover looks so sweet. The Only reason I'm going to buy that game is because it has Psylocke in it. Sure the games gooks decent, but Psylocke is my muse and my fav.
