Normally I'd throw money without hesitation at a spiritual successor to Eternal Darkness, but SK's cred since the Too Human fiasco has plummeted. If I do decide to fund it, I doubt I'd go for the full season tier.

Yeah, I'm hopeful, I'd love to see any sort of continuation of Eternal Darkness, but I'm not holding my breath as to whether or not they'll actually manage it.

Been playing Darksiders on PC because I got it real cheap in the THQ Humble Bundle a while back. I honestly don't get the hype. It's not a bad game, just a very bloated one based on it's simplistic design. It's literally a Dynasty Warriors game but take out the fun epic battles, cool musou powers and everything else fun about DW. It's button spam dressed up as some epic tale that takes itself way too seriously and goes on for way too long. It's fun, but after beating just the first of 5 bosses I realize there is no way this game is going to be entertaining enough to slog through them all. Combos are boring and useless(think if DMC didn't have all it's cool moves and combo counter) and the "platforming" is boring. I won't get into how frustrating the aiming mechanics are when it comes to boss fights.

It has made me interested in the sequel as everyone claims it improved heavily on the first. As long as it realizes it's just a dumb hack and slash game and constantly throws fun enemies my way repeatedly I'm game.

I still have to play that as well, but yes, I've tried it when it came out and only played the first level (?). I did not see anything special about it, but Joe Mad art is cool. But I want to give it another shot.

This thread is basically the same as What Are You Playing Now, right? Never have been clear on what the difference may be between the two. Anyway I got another copy of Captain America last night and it's still great. Wrote a blog about it back in the day, the only thing I have to add is that the sound effect when he clangs the shield off of somebody's head is just perfect. I think they may have actually recorded a piece of metal bouncing off a human skull. So good. It's also pretty awesome to play a game where you're just the unequivocal good guy. No gray areas, no shades of anything, just good ol' American Steve Rogers whippin' the shit out some Nazis. Man I love this game.

PC version Borderlands 2 is for sale on Amazon for $20. Thinking about getting it and selling my PS3 copy.

Only thing complicating that is that I've already bought 2 DLC's for my PS3 version, neither of which I've touched.

The Arcade is a video game themed version of The Bar, talk about anything game-related. It doesn't have to be about what people are playing at the moment, but it can and often is. What are you Playing Right Now is exactly what it says on the tin.

It's like how The Bar can go on for pages about what music, movies, tv shows, etc people are enjoying, even though we have separate threads for all of those topics.

Been in a lull since completing Bioshock Infinite and not really knowing where to go next. So much choice and not really wanting to play anything, so I thought I'd do The Ballad of Gay Tony as it's the only part I haven't done yet and thought it'd be a fun little romp before I delve into something bigger.

I really suck at GTA because a lot of those mission targets are missed and look near impossible to do.
