For my birthday last week I received Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion for the 3DS and it was the first time I turned the thing on in several months. I really dig the game, it reminds me of all the Disney sidescrollers throughout the years, either starring Mickey or based on the movies. The scenery hopping is great.

I also got the new Paper Mario game, but haven't played it yet. Odds are good that I'm getting Adventure Time for Christmas, so that'll be three 3DS games to keep me interested in the system for a bit.

I'm waiting on American releases of Shin Megami Tensei 4 and the remake of Dragon Quest VII before I dump money on that thing.

I got my 3DS on launch day and have only played Ocarina of Time on it so far, it's the only console I've wholeheartedly regretted buying so early. Until they add a second analog stick to the XL version, I'll be sticking with my Vita I think.

On the topic of Nintendo, I'm finding New Super Mario Bros U harder/more unforgiving than Rayman Origins. Being new to Mario games, I have no idea what...is going on. Very strange how a seemingly simple platformer can be so impenetrable to someone who hasn't grown up with Nintendo.

I'm 23, just never owned/knew anyone who owned Nintendo consoles growing up. I don't think consoles in general have ever been too popular in Finland, it's always been very PC-oriented here.
