Got Castlevania for the DS last week, and beat that in two days with all three endings. Damn that game is fun, if not a little on the easy side though for Castlevania games. That's one gripe I have about the newer Castlevania games...you can level up to the point that nothing is really a challenge anymore, unlike the old school ones (Simon's Quest notwithstanding) where it's just plain hard all the time. Still fun though. Oddly though, it probably took me longer to clear the linear stage-based IV than it did this version in the long run.

Just picked up Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts and Battletoads for SNES. Man those games are still impossible. Couldn't beat the first level of G&G and got stuck on the second one in Battletoads. Harumph.

I'm here in Mississippi (Biloxi) doing some extra training for my job and I'm moving out to Texas (Wichita Falls) to do it.

Biloxi's not bad, but it's pretty removed from Wisconsin. Don't let the yokels get you.

Well it would be a lot better down here if that damn hurricane didn't hit. I spent about 8 months here a year before it happened so I remember that this was a really bumpin' place. Now it's only kind of hoppin'. The Imperial Palace is the only real game down here anymore, but the Beau Rivage should be opening up next month.

God there used to be so much more to do here, but give this place 10 years and it is going to be better than it ever was.

You're probably right. Someone is going to develop the shit out of the coast line. And definitely check out the Beau Rivage if you can. I played a soccer tourney in Biloxi once, and we stayed in the Beau Rivage. It was decadent.

How did I miss this game? It's fuckin' great! To bad the developer is only doing phone games now.

Currently playing Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth. It's a really deep game, so I wanted to check on a faq to see if I'm going on the right path. Turns out I completely fucked up. So I'm currently starting a new game on Hard mode.

Star Fox 64. Man, I forgot how hard/annoying this game can get.
