Playing Hotline Miami at the moment. It seems to have a physical effect on me and I'm usually sweating by the end of a stage. Probably not normal, but I love it.

With giving Diablo a break, I'm currently playing Halo 4, Borderlands 2 and Skyrim. Bit of a mixed bag to keep me entertained.
Brutal Doom, Doom 3. Might Finish up some X-Com aswell.
Waiting for that to hit the £15 sweet spot for my dented wallet.
As regards Doom 3, I find it's a testament to how much hand holding we've had in recent games. Playing on normal and I get my ass handed to me.
I'd say wait for the DLC with X-Com, there's two more pieces atleast coming out so might be a good idea to wait for some sort of game/dlc discount bundle thing.
Are you playing Doom on console or PC? I always found it pretty easy - even on Veteran, Nightmare's just a joke. The original Doom is more of a challenge, especially with the Brutal mod.
Got it on console as I already have it on PC. Found it easier on PC, but don't want to start a keyboard and mouse convo again. Should be easier on either with the armor flashlight.
I'll definitely wait for XCOM, Steam sales should see that at a good price and as you say, bundled with any DLC released at that point too.
There are some mods for Doom 3 that give you a light on your gun, if that's any help.
I actually preferred the original game's switching mechanic, what I was trying to say is that the default option in BFG is an armor fitted flashlight, which I thought would make the game way too easy on console and PC.
Maybe the difficulty is just another reason to use my excuse of playing far too many lazy MMOs and my reflexes are dead.
I just found it annoying, like the guy said in the notes for the duct tape mod, you'd think they'd have atleast one roll lying about somewhere.
I've been playing far too much Halo 4 since it was released. It's the most engaged by a multiplayer element I've ever been with an FPS. As well as Silent Hill Downpour, which I have found quite satisfying so far (especially after the atrocity that was the HD Collection).
I am playing FIFA
Played the Karateka demo and it was barely even something you could call a game. Not sure how or why they did it but somehow they managed to dumb down a Commodore 64 side scroller.
Press block, press attack three times, repeat -- oh hey new enemy type!

Hello, welcome to the foruns, please go make an intro thread here: http://forum.destructoid.com/forumdi...et-Forum-Rules
Persona 3 Portable. I have a massive backlog which I should be clearing, but instead I'm spending all my free time with this grindy grinderson of a grinder. But it's fun, and I can listen to Podtoid whilst clearing Tartarus.
Why so much hatred on that pretty green gravy-filled heart?
Seriously though, what I like about Call of Duty goes against what you said, but not that I'm pointing out that you're wrong. I just personally think that the good thing about CoD (singleplayer) is that it is akin to a rollercoaster. A thrillride with shooty-shooty-bang-bang action.
Or, in other words, I'm trying to disagree with you politely.
Also, I don't think that military shooters are crap by default. I do agree that we're getting a little burned out having 3 or 4 of them a year.
