In the show he's a demon that took the name. Was a crossroads demon, then worked his way up to head demon in charge. He's been kicking around for a few seasons now, lots of backstory and fun to him.

There's a whole separate demon named Alastair as well. He was the top level torture guru of Hell.

Interesting. This isn't the first time I've seen writers separate his first and last name. In Fallout 3 you have Alistair Tenpenny, the well-to-do homeowner who bids the player to destroy Megaton, and Mr. Crowley, the literal "ghoul" who puts a price on Alistair's head. He's also on the cover of Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, which incidentally is nowhere near as torturous as a knotted rope to the balls.

Also, just realized that the Supernatural show has literally demonized my religious beliefs. Heh. That's funny.

Freaks & Geeks is great. You should check out Undeclared after you're done with that. It's not as good, but still pretty great.

Also, The Kroll Show is an absolute pile of turd!

I started to watch Kroll's "stand-up" special on netflix a couple months back and hated it so I had to turn it off. I like him on The League, but his characters in that special were so stupid and really not funny, so if Kroll Show is just more of those I can easily miss it.


Buuuuut maybe it's actually good, because going off of your other posts you and I have very different tastes so I dunno.

Thought the Supernatural fans might enjoy this. Almost went in Nightmare Fuel but nah, it goes here. Listening to it now and it's kinda Halloweeny in tone, yet has some actual facts about the real Mr. Crowley.

Forced my way through some more Bones. Wish they got rid of the female cro-magnon lab assistant and dropped the horribly forced "Bones is a badass and can fight too". It's so bad because she's stiff with it and they try to realistically portray a 130lb female taking down tall 250lb+ dudes with ease. My bullshit meter only goes so far. I won't go into how bad the 3D model hologram crap the cro-magnon designed either.

I do like the crime situations and her and the agent's interactions as well as the dorky "squints" dudes. Everything else should be dropped though because it's so hamfisted.
