If it didn't have that subplot, it would have been perfect. Should have been a two-hander between Carrie and Brody, but I'm just nitpicking.

It's great that you can get the same kind of tension from two characters talking each other than say an episode where someone's running around Beirut.

Keep in mind that I'm only three episodes into Season 2, but...

I'm not sure about Homeland going 3+ seasons. I'm not saying that I wouldn't be excited and eager to watch it, because I would be lieing, but I feel like the show would have to hit a hard reset to go a whole lot longer, as opposed to keeping Brody and Nazir as major elements of the plot. And then how do they handle Carrie?

I dunno. I feel like there's a danger of me getting disenchanted with it, like Burn Notice. And then if they do hit that reset, the writers have to summon the same skill and energy, despite the fact that they eventually will have told the story they began with. I'm worried about that.

But I'll get back to you on that.

American Horror Story Asylum Ep 4 either based this one actual methods or made it up. Either way trying to cure someone of the mental disease of gayness by having them look at trigger images whilst being injected through a drip with something that causes vomiting so they associate disgust with homosexual urges...then have 'conversion' techniques used such as forcing admiration of the male form then sleeping with them...makes me so fucking sad.

To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if it was spot on. Most of the methods used over the centuries to "cure" people of anything they didn't understand have been mostly fucking horrifying.
