Got a new laptop. a "Gaming" laptop that runs SOOOOOOO much faster than my 5 year old computer. I started a new job today and it is awesome. I can pick my own hours and I work from home. fuck. yes.

Nice! I wish I had a job where I could just work from home. Then I wouldn't have to worry about leaving on time in order to catch the bus every morning.

My daughter has been interested in gaming since she could grab a controller, mashing away at Street Fighter or just making my Skyrim dude fus roh dah over and over again. I saw Epic Mickey 2 go on sale at Gamefly and grabbed it for her with the intention it would be "her game" and just let her try and figure things out. She keeps figuring out how to do little things here and there and just squeals with delight at each new thing. It's a complete joy to watch her have so much fun.

just got pre-approved on my construction loan. shopping for land. fun times.

Got my first ever Platinum trophy last week. I'm not a trophy/cheevo hunter, but it was in Ratchet & Clank HD, and I didn't mind grinding away at it since it's so much fun. I'll probably do the same with the other R&C HD games.

Meeting with a builder at a prospective home site tomorrow. That's kind of exciting.

Got a 3.5 this semester_{and all i had to do was drop a class...} Then again grad school seems like it's backish on the table, and next semester should be fun_{​then again I need to figure out what I'm doing this summer....}
