Badge Ideas Thread!

Glad to be back. How about a vehicle badge on a users preference, such as dodge, scion, toyot,a ford, chevy, whatev. it'd be interesting to see what gamers drive, and easy to incorporate a vehicle emblem on a badge.

Well in that case I suggest a numbered badge to show penis length. It will be interesting to see penis lengths gamers have and easy to get them all to post proof.

Unfortunately that would mean making a badge for every car type, which means setting up separate user groups and user ranks for each, and I'd rather not push vbulletin too hard there. Same reason we decided not to do the Country of Origin badges and don't do multi-tier ones much anymore. We try to keep badges limited to being Dtoid site/community related too to keep the amount of them under control.

I think the hat badge should live, and if possible be automatically applied to banned users only. Because I want to know if Sam is willing to sacrifice everything* for it.

On the topic of badges that involve sex organs, I proposed this in the wrong forum, so I'm just going put this out there. I had an idea for a transgender pride badge (and made one ), but I was thinking maybe a badge for anyone in the queer spectrum who is out and proud.

We're trying to keep new badges limited to Dtoid site/community related stuff. Over the years we've built up a lot of badges, so we have to be extra choosy with the ones we add so it doesn't become too difficult to manage them all.

There's also the issue of it being a badge not everyone can potentially earn, due to it being based on how one was born. Beard & Classy Ladies were created by Techno back at the beginning, so they've been grandfathered in. Today, I probably wouldn't do either of those again. Being out and proud is totally something to celebrate, but going to have to pass on doing it with a badge. Sorry!
