I talked Zombutler into Netflixing the first season, and we watched the first few episodes together by queuing it up and communicating through Xbox Live. Long story short, it was awesome.

Make jokes all you want, (hell, even I was like "this is by far the nerdiest shit I've ever done" when we were setting it up) but watching the show with other people who are fans instantly makes it 10x funnier.

I didn't bother reading this thread for a long time cause I thought it was actually about the weather in Philadelphia. Yesterday I found out it was a TV show.

Damn, how have I overlooked this thread until now?!

It's a shame, this is easily one of the most underrated shows on TV right now. The vast majority of people I run into have no idea what the show is. I fucking love it. Plus I get to see some Philly landmarks that I see every day going to work, like 30th Street Station.

My favorite moment, easily, is from "The Gang Gets Whacked," when Charlie is talking with Buster the jockey: "So, come on, you old son of a gun, and - and let Buster do a line off your boner." DYING!

Yeah, definitely buying the DVDs after this thread reminded me of how fucking awesome the show is. Thanks, guys.

Holy shit, I love this thread.

My favorite overall episode has gotta be the musical The Nightman Cometh In The Boys Hole.

But my favorite individual moment is Charlie refereeing the basketball game and just blocking the shit out of a kids shot, or when Dee and Dennis go on welfare and are just hanging out on a porch singing Biz Markie, or...shit too many good moments to count.
