I personally can't understand why anyone would hate Jim Sterling. I think he's brilliant.

I think banj is a good example of people who hate Sterling. Not wanting to put co.. words into his mouth, but I assume he ticks the majority of the following:

- Doesn't regularly read the front page and hasn't for some time
- Assumed Dtoid is worse than ever (including the "community")
- Thinks many of the shitty aspects of the community are the fault of Sterling
- Was here in the "good old days" before Sterling joined the staff
- Forms an opinion of Sterling based on what other people say
- Has no idea what or how frequently Sterling writes
- Dismisses anybody who disagrees about Jim as simply a Jim fanboy.
- Used to hate (or still does) Summa
- Doesn't listen to either Podtoid (which is assumed by the subject to be terrible) or The Podcastle
- Is probably not a dick IRL
- Thinks MGS4 is coming out on the 360 soon.

I think it's clear to Jim himself from the brief interactions we've had that I don't actually have a problem with him at all. Nice character profile though Moulder, keep it up.

Yeah it's weird how that works. That one time we were in the IRC you might as well have assumed we'd all been pals since fucking forever. As soon as we're on the forums it's fuck all with that act and we're about as amicable toward him as shit flinging apes.
