    Books, motherf*ckers.

What are you reading right now?

Currently getting through 'Flow My Tears, The Policeman Said', by Philip K Dick which is typical PKD awesomeness so far. Trying to slug my way through some Lovecraft, and failing badly. Also trying to get through 'The Golden Bough' by JG Frazer and 'Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance' by Robert M Pirsig.

I've been reading a fairly new sieries by Naomi Navik. Historical fantasy. Although I managed to misplace Throne of Jade halfway through it. This makes me sad.

I always loved this Gandhi quote, in reply to the question "What do you think of Western Civilisation?":

I think it would be a good idea!

    Funny fucker.

Just finished three books this week, I read at work alot. Salt: a World History, all about the salt and the salt trade throught the ages. The other two I read were Survivor and Choke both by Chuck Palahniuk (author of Fight Club). If you are int fantasy I really suggest the orginal Conan stories by Robert E. Howard, the first and best of high fantasy (in my opnion this beats the rings trilogy hands down).

I have well over 30 books in this series. My favorite among them is still the Twins Trilogy =)

What's wrong with Angels & Demons? In the opinion of many people, it was a better book than the Da Vinci Code. I thought that it was quite entertaining.

It was entertaining in an MST3K kinda way. It was just the most ridiculous, badly written piece of shit I've ever read.

Yet a third likewise as every single person I know who has read it said it was better than Da Vinci

Well, it's a bit like saying throwing up is more desirable than explosive diarrhea. They're still both horrible, horrible things.
