Yeah, most if not all of your crew is returning, just not as squadmates.

Tali was the one character who's specific side mission was one I'd do. It was the biggest, the hardest and the most worth it. <3 etc.
And Ashley or Kaidan? I hate them both, but I think I hate Kaidan a little less, since he almost has a reason to be a bland and awkward to talk to. Ashley's reason is "I'm a tomboy, get used to it". Dead'd. And Kaidan comes with free hilariously inappropriate philosophical statements every now and then.
Also, the 'morality changing appearance' mechanic will be crap no matter what form it takes. See: Fable 2.
Anyone else think that having a Geth in your squad is going to get really confusing if you're also fighting against Geth? They all look the same.
I'm betting in order to get Legion, Tali will have to leave the party.
Can't imagine they'd work together.
wow this thread kicked up a notch

I'd take Tali over Legion then. Legion looks cool, but no other droid/robot can ever come close to the epicness that is HK-47 from KOTOR.
Still, they said that you wouldn't be able to get every character in one run, right? So it makes sense that those two would be opposites. Of course, what ZombiePlatypus said also is a possibility, though I can't remember at the moment if Legion became self-aware or was reprogrammed in his character trailer.
Clarification: Meatbags are unable to perceive the greatness of a droid with a blaster to its full extend.
Since geth become intelligent when several of them are in close proximity to each other, I'd bet on Legion being re-programmed. Or maybe being an agent provocateur.Still, they said that you wouldn't be able to get every character in one run, right? So it makes sense that those two would be opposites. Actually, the trailer states that he's from another faction of Geth with different beliefs, and that he's kind of broken beyond the "hive mind" thing. So the Agent Provocateur thing seems most in line with that(though, it also states that Legion is stalking Shepard).
Check it if you don't believe me(starts at about the 3 minute mark):

Hmmm, I'm still in the process of finishing the first (Demon's Souls and Uncharted 2 interrupted me) but what squads did you guys use? I mostly throw down with Garrus and Wrex although they both die pretty quickly leaving everything to me.

First time was Wrex and Tali on the 360, and second time was Tali and Garrus on the PC(despite the lack of Garrus's High Res face texture in that version).
And yeah, I found that my team went down pretty often unless I micromanaged them, which was a much easier thing to do in the PC version(less pausing things). Just make sure to tell them to use appropriate cover, and to what their new target should be once their current one goes down.
It was almost always Garrus and Ashley for me. I'd throw in Tali and Wrex on occasion, but Garrus and Ashley 90+% of the time. Garrus dies a lot, and Ashley a bit less, but that's what Unity is for.
One thing that I feel idiotic about is that I haven't gotten around to figuring out what I hit to get to my skills and change the ones that are equipped. I know it's on the keyboard somewhere, but I'm just too lazy to find it.
