Gotta say I just found the episode frustrating. It's cool to pick on Samit a little, but basically this episode never took off because everyone found it humorous to cut off any progress any time it was about to start. Like most jokes, this gets old if it's just repeated non-stop for over an hour.

Samit pisses me off regularly with his lip-smacking, inability to get through games like Portal in a reasonable amount of time, unwillingness to play games on anything but stupid difficulties, non-stop sports talk, inability to detect sarcasm and his difficulty getting out basic sentences in a timely manner... but, I actually felt sorry for him this time. Running jokes are funnier if they are given some time to breathe.

Also, this might be me, but I like hearing a live game being played in the background. It adds a little atmosphere, as if you guys are just talking in the room while I'm playing a game (or in this case, someone else).

So maybe keep that up, and people just switch up on playing games? But not Jim and Bayonetta...no offense Jim, but it'll be hard to stifle laughter while the games of the week is going on...wait, no, scratch that. No, I love it most of the time. The Portal music started a bit too soon, but I love the intros and stuff.

I get what you're saying but rarely do we hear all 6 1/2 members talking simultaneously. Usually it'll be Brad/Arrenn/Anthony musing over the latest release and Jim chiming in with a well-placed joke or three. As soon as Samit wants to talk about the news, one of the previous four doesn't talk as much (usually Brad or Aaron) and Topher just speaks whenever but never enough.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that since the crew already operates in implicit shifts that adding another regular wouldn't upset the balance too much. We'd have more 2 hour podcasts, but I'm okay with that. :)

But that's the thing. Multiple times Samit said "You mean Just Cause 2?" and instead of saying, "Yeah, man they sure did ripoff that grappling hook mechanic didn't they?", Adam thought it would be funny by keep insisting that he was playing Bionic Commando, except it wasn't

And Adam, I don't dislike or hate you, I am completely indifferent to you. But I know that it's easier to make excuses to negate someone's complaint instead of accepting it as a valid point, so do what you gotta do man.

That being said, I went back and listened to the rest of the episode last night, and there were some pretty funny parts.
